Midway Co-op Association in conjunction with Land O’Lakes donated a total of $3,000 to the Mankato Endowment. Midway Coop donated $1,500 and Land O’Lakes matched it for a total of $3,000! The Mankato Endowment uses the funds for Helping Hands Ministries. Helping Hands Ministries helps meet the needs of more financial distressed families in Jewell County. The money is used for the food pantry and provides supplies to families in need.
Midway Coop continues to be major supporters in local communities and work with Regional Cooperatives to receive matching grants. Midway Coop also once again supported local county fair premium auctions with over $40,000 and this fully supports Midways mission statement, “To serve our communities with a financially sound, professionally managed cooperative offering quality products and services at competitive prices.” Land O’Lakes is a regional cooperative that matches dollar-for-dollar cash donations from its local cooperative members like Midway Co-op.
