Starting on Monday, May 4th our Luray C-Store will have its doors back open.  The kitchen is open for carryout only.  We ask that customers practice social distancing and not come in if they have been sick.  We want to keep you and our employees safe.

We have settled into what has become our new norm.  We have decided with the warmer weather that we will resume service work in our service stations, including oil changes.  Please call your local service station with any questions or for service.  We will be taking extra precautions in and around your vehicle for our employees safety.

Osborne County now has a positive case of COVID-19.  It makes it seem more real to all of us.  We are still open behind locked doors. Please continue to do your part in minimizing contact with our employees for your safety as well as ours. Covid-19 has changed all of our lives. Whether its at work or play, we have new rules to go by. We must continue to do the 6 feet social distancing among us. This might sound unnecessary to some but it might be the difference in spreading the virus or not. Please do not do any unnecessary traveling outside of the area. Some counties have already put 14 day quarantine on those that do. Use common sense, wipe down and disinfect frequently touched areas and stay as close to home as you can. I know all of this is not fun or might sound crazy but we have to comply to the rules if we want to minimize the spread of the virus.

March 28, 2020

As you all are aware Governor Kelly has issued a "Stay-at-home" order for Kansas effective on Monday.  Agriculture is considered an "Essential Business" so we will remain open, but we will do so behind closed and locked doors.  It will be business as usual inside and we will be communicating with our customers thru phone calls, texts, e-mails and etc. There will be one exception, we will cease doing oil changes at all locations for the time being. This is necessary for the safety of our employees as well as our patrons. We have to control the spread of this virus and that would be a highly contagious space in the vehicles. Thanks for your patience and understanding in this very difficult time.

March 26, 2020

We are making another change due to COVID-19.  Our Luray Convenience Store will be doing curbside service only. Please call the Luray C-Store (785-698-2411) to order what you would like and they will meet you at the curb with your food/drink order. Also, the Luray C-Store will be closing at 7 pm until further notice. We are also taking extra precautions at our fuel pumps. We are wiping down the fuel pumps periodically at all our locations to help keep you safe.

Please continue to do business with us through calls, text, or emails to limit exposure for the safety of everyone. Our phone numbers are posted at each location and on our website under locations.

March 23, 2020

We have no changes since our last COVID-19 Update.  We are still open but ask that you  ONLY COME IN IF ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.  Please call, text, or email and we will be happy to serve you.  Please coordinate with your location to keep our employees and customers safe.

March 20, 2020

In light of what is happening in our world today concerning COVID-19, many businesses are closed and people are home or working from home.  It would be almost impossible to work from home in the type of business we are in.  We will be here to provide service for our members, but we want to do that safely for our employees and customers.  All of our locations are open, but some locations have closed their office to the public.  Coordinate with your location and PLEASE ONLY COME IN IF ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.  Please call, text, or email and we will be happy to serve you.  We are in unprecedented times and things are changing rapidly.  We will update you as needed.

Midway Patrons,

We wanted to reach out to everyone and give you an update on COVID-19 and how it is and could impact Midway Coop.  We wanted to let all of our members and employees know that your safety is our number one priority and because of the increase in COVID-19 cases in the United States and Kansas, management has been discussing a game plan.  First and foremost, if anyone develops a fever or any symptoms of COVID-19 PLEASE STAY HOME.  Also, if anyone has been in contact with a known case of COVID-19, please stay home for the CDC recommended time of 14 days.  It is cold and flu season as well, and we strongly encourage each of you to contact your healthcare provider (FROM HOME) if you experience any symptoms.  It is also extremely important to perform routine cleaning of all frequently touched surfaces in our workplace.

At present time, all Midway Coop locations will remain open and operate business as usual.  We will be using common sense in dealing with customers.  We ask that customers stick to business only and not loiter or spend time drinking coffee at our locations for the safety of everyone.  If you want to do business but don’t want to come into our location, please call and we will meet you outside.  We also encourage you to mail in your payments.

We are in unprecedented times and things are changing rapidly.  We will update you as needed.

Thank you for your attention to this very important issue.
