October 2018 News Release Midway Coop supports hometown community
Midway Coop announced a $5,000 grant to the Osborne County Rural Fair Association. The funds are to replace the displays at the county fair. “We’re proud to support this project as a way to strengthen the community and see it thrive,” says Dell Princ, Midway Coop General Manager. “Projects like this are essential to enriching our rural area and the people who live here.” In addition to the funds contributed by Midway Coop, the contribution will be matched dollar for dollar by a CHS Seeds for Stewardship grant, which helps cooperatives grow their impact locally. Together, $5,000 will benefit the Osborne County Rural Fair Association.
May 1, 2018 NEWS RELEASE: Midway Co-op Association, Inc. in conjunction with CoBank donated a total of $10,000.00 to the Osborne Community Foundation designated for the new pool on April 30, 2018. CoBank is a regional cooperative that matches dollar-for-dollar cash donations from its local cooperative members like Midway Co-op through their annual Sharing Success Program. The donations are designed to support rural America by strengthening the communities they serve.
